Treatment of Female Orgasmic Disorder

Female Orgasmic Disorder is one of the most common concerns that brings clients to sex therapy, yet many clinicians feel underprepared to assess and treat it.

This course will help you accurately diagnose FOD using DSM-5-TR criteria, understand the biopsychosocial factors that contribute to orgasmic difficulty, and apply evidence-based interventions including mindful masturbation, mindfulness-based approaches, and cognitive restructuring.

We explore the cultural silence, societal messaging, and sex education gaps that shape how clients experience and understand their own bodies, while also addressing the unique needs of LGBTQIA2S+ clients, menopausal women, and those navigating medication-induced anorgasmia.

This course is offered asynchronously and upon completion you can earn 1.5 CEs. It is taught by Julie Labanz, MA, LPCC-S, CST, CST-S.
