In this course we will explore how sexuality changes as we get older. We will explore research and provide interventions to help you help your clients continue to feel hope when it comes to sex.

Course Objectives

  • Analyze cultural messaging that is showing up in clients & identify ways to reframe this with them
  • Identify at least 4 interventions to use with clients to improve perception of aging & sexuality 
  • Gain the ability to assess for biological, physical, social, and emotional factors that can impact sex for elderly individuals 
  • Explain to clients practical adjustments to sex that they can make as they age
These objectives meet CK-B, CK-E, and CK-I for AASECT Sex Therapy Certification requirements.
